Actions. Not Words

We always plan. But we rarely execute. Often, our inaction or inability to start working towards our goals is rooted in how much we talk about our plans. The plans we never get to execute on. Unfortunately, the only way to reach our goals is through action. In the Laws of Human Nature, Robert Greene notes: “Win through your actions, not your words.” And Jane Austen said more eloquently when she wrote “I have not wanted syllables where actions have spoken so plainly.”

"Only in the conduct of our action can we find the sense of mastery over the Fates."  — Joseph Conrad, Nostromo
