I am always impressed with people who immersed themselves in their work and produce as much as they can in their life time. I recently learned yet another such example: Karl Popper. Karl Popper (1902-1994) was an Austrian-British philosopher and a major figure in 20th century philosophy of science.

One fascinating fact about Karl Popper was also his productivity. It is said that Karl Popper had produced so much work during his lifetime. According to the book, 30-Second Philosophies (edited by Barry Loewer), by the end of his life, Karl Popper’s collected papers were voluminous enough to fill 450 cartons at the Popper Archive in the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.
