Eric Jorgenson, the author of the book Almanack of Naval Ravikant shares the rules that Naval Ravikant lives by. I found 8 of those rules very helpful and wanted to share them:
- Reading (learning) is the ultimate meta-skill and can be traded for anything else.
- All the real benefits in life come from compound interest.
- Praise specifically, criticize generally. (Warren Buffet)
- Every moment has to be complete in and of itself.
- Earn with you mind, not your time.
- All greatness comes from suffering.
- Desire is suffering. (Buddha)
- Be present above all else.
Parting quote: Health, love, and your mission, in that order. Nothing else matters — Naval Ravikant
The complete list of Naval’s rules can be found in the (free version of the) book Almanack of Naval Ravikant by Eric Jorgenson
