Day 15 of the 365 days of self-discipline book discusses constant improvement. There is no finish line to self-discipline. That is my interpretation of the message. As the author argues, discipline requires constant effort. Once you acquire a new behavior, it is important to keep improving so that you don’t stagnate or, worse, fall back to old behaviors. Thus, it is key to consistently practice. As the author concludes, such consistent practice ensures that you’re at least maintaining your level of self-control, and ideally always getting better at it.
