Day 20 of the 365 days of self-discipline  book talks about my favorite topic: taking small steps. The argue argues that attaining self-discipline is far easier when taken in small doses. As the saying goes, Rome wasn’t built in a day. As he puts it: If you’ve never been particularly disciplined, start small with easy challenges and then build on top of them. This theme always reminds me of when I first learned of the idea of atomic habits from the book Atomic Habits by James Clear. Essentially, the whole book talks about what Martin Meadow is describing in the “On Taking Small Steps”. To make big changes in your life, start by implementing small changes. The small changes will result in big changes.
